Our Mission: To maximize coordination and integration of activities related to health care associated infection, prevention, surveillance and control for the province of British Columbia, using an evidence-based approach.
PICNet aims to achieve its mission by:
Supporting and coordinating initiatives of shared importance
Providing knowledge to guide best practices
Sharing information, translating knowledge and training experts
Coordinating and enhancing provincial surveillance activities
Advocating on behalf of all professionals working to prevent and control HAIs in BC.
